About IEEE JKUAT SB INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO THIKA POWER PLANT
IEEE JKUAT shall carry out an industry visit to Thika Power Plant on the 19th and 20th May 2025 as part of the Career launcher program. Thika power plant is an 87MW heavy fuel oil plant built to supplement hydropower in times of draught. This visit awards students the opportunity to tour the power plant and experience power generation in practice.
