Lux Tech Academy Night of Code: New Cohort ft. Outgoing Finalists — 20+ Hours of Project Building, CV Reviews, and Networking for Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Engineers at LuxDevHQ Lab, 1842 Kilimani.

The night of code  is more of networking, mentorship and coding. 

 The purpose of the networking session is that you have the privilege of  connecting with peers. During  session we have the Icebreaker sessions to meet attendees whom potentially could be recruiters, startup founders, and developers. We have  the opportunity to exchange contacts, portfolios and even resumes. 

The mentorship session. Here we  Learn from experienced developers, tech leads and industry experts. During the session we have a personalized career and tech advice, guidance on navigating challenges in coding or tech careers and Inspiration and motivation from real-world success stories.

Coding session. The purpose is  engaging in hands-on programming and hackathons. There will be pair programming or team collaborations  and you are expected  to do full hackathon projects and present. It gives the exposure to new tools and languages. The benefit is that  you sharpen your skills in a high-energy environment, Learn through doing—fast and creatively and also add real projects to your portfolio.

The night of code emphasizes on focus, intensity, and collaboration. Food, coffee, and breaks are usually included to keep the energy high and people engaged.
