The SAR Polarimetry and Advanced Remote Sensing School aims to build capacity in Africa by introducing students and young professionals to the fundamentals and applications of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and advanced remote sensing technologies. The program focuses on hands-on training, data processing, and practical applications in areas such as agriculture, disaster management, resource monitoring, and climate change. By strengthening technical expertise, the school seeks to empower participants to contribute to sustainable development and informed decision-making across Africa.
