About Feminist MHFA Training ( FSN & Equality Vanguard)
The Fancied Aiders Program is a mental health first aid certification designed to provide participants with the practical skills necessary to address mental health challenges and reduce stigma. As a specialized Pan-African initiative, this seventh cohort is held in partnership with Equality Vanguard, centering a feminist approach to ensure that care is both technically sound and responsive to systemic realities.
This program is a core component of our mission to train 1 million Mental Health First Aiders for Africa. By integrating storytelling with clinical expertise, we empower participants to bridge the gap between emotional well-being and social justice advocacy. To ensure the highest standards of care, all training is facilitated by board-certified therapists.
